Advocate Children's Hospital - Oak Lawn trains new pediatricians in a medium-sized residency program.  Each year, 13 residents graduate to practice in the community or pursue further training in fellowships while 13 new interns join the program each July 1 to start their three year journey.

I've grown leaps and bounds since starting residency due to the wide variety of pathology and high volume seen at the hospital, and the quality teaching from attendings. We are trained well pursue a career in outpatient or inpatient pediatrics, which is helpful in deciding a career path."
